Is it ok to feed a non Feline CD cat Feline CD food? - feline food
My cat eats Hill's CD urinary crystals, and my other cats love that I can not keep away from his plate. Is it okay to have him as their main power?

I'm really surprised by these answers. Methionine is the C's / D Food acidify urine and prevent the formation of crystals in the urine that form when the urine is very alkaline.
It really seems to be resistance data for a cat with a normal pH. If the cat urine is too acidic side is the risk of developing a kidney stone and must be surgically removed.
PH of urine may be difficult to control - 6.5 (slightly acidic is) normal, healthy reading for a cat. It is a question of balance.
Excess carbohydrates in dry foods that have a different cause alkaline urine. I think today, most veterinarians must be aware of.
You can go and check http://www.littlebigcat.com article by Dr. John Hovfe called "urinary disease in cats" and "Cats must eat" and "Why cats need canned food.
