Sugar Glider Care and Maintainence - caring for a sugar glider

I was thinking of getting a sugar glider (and actually 2) and did a little research on their care. I know the basics, as they are fresh fruit, nocturnal, etc. .. but I would love to hear from someone who has petaurista you need to know to take care of them. In addition, I have children and I was wondering if this could be a problem, such as sugar gliders. All constructive input! Thanks
