I warn you as a man of 19 years with a large tattoo on the ribs (I have 3 weeks ago) is one of the most painful. I knew I was on it, and decided that anyway. It was bearable, but sometimes it was hard not to move.
I tried really hard not to twitch, and I as still as possible. Note that I have a very high pain tolerance, it does not bother me much that can be some problems.
After everything is said and done, I am very glad that I did not let it pains me to keep doing what I wanted. Please note that it is very badly injured in some places, and I slept in the other. (The proximity to the bottom of my rib cage, and behind the curve of the increase were the worst.)
